BUDOKON YOGA

From the Budokon Mixed Movement Arts.
Designed to improve agility through joint mobility, muscular strength and cardiovascular stamina.

Budokon Mixed Movement combines the combat arts of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts together with Yoga, Crawling Patterns, Mobility, Calisthenics, and Cognitive Studies.

Budokon Yoga emphasises precision in movement by focusing on slow and controlled TRANSITIONS between and beyond traditional yoga postures.

the BDK FLOW CLASS

follows the Budokon Yoga Primary Series, made up of seven sections including ANIMAL CRAWLING PATTERNS. We learn to master the patterns and flow of constant transitioning, through mindful DEEP PRACTISE. Both challenging and playful, embracing a fixed vs fluid approach to movement. 

Every few weeks we spotlight a specific section to keep the focus on excellent technique, which is fundamental to the Budokon way. The 75 minute class ends with 10-15 minutes of Sitting Meditation and/or Savasana.

Budokon Yoga is a modern yoga style which unites the ancient tradition of self enquiry with modern mixed movement.
