BUDOKON YOGA

From Budokon Mixed Movement Arts, a Yoga practise that improves agility through increased muscular strength, cardiovascular stamina and joint mobility.

Budokon Mixed Movement combines the combat arts of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts
together with Classical Yoga, Crawling Patterns, Mobility, Calisthenics, and Cognitive Studies.

Budokon Yoga unites the ancient tradition of self-enquiry with this modern movement lexicon, emphasising precision in movement through slow and controlled transitions
between and beyond traditional yoga postures,
including spinal undulations, spiral transitions, and martial arts stances.

Weekly classes are based on the Budokon Yoga Primary Series,
made up of seven sections including ANIMAL CRAWLING PATTERNS. We learn to master the patterns and flow of constant transitioning, through mindful DEEP PRACTISE. It is a physically demanding style of yoga and yet it encourages curiosity, playfulness and humility.

The Budokon Yoga style was originally created as a conditioning practice for grapplers and mixed martial arts fighters.
